Its a.....

                                  BOY!

As you can tell from the picture there is no doubt its a boy!  The girl  who did the ultrasound sound even said, " Yep, its defiantly a boy, he has his hands down there playing with it."  Oh geeze, I have a lot to learn about boys.  We participated in a study at Lance's work at the U of U where they could tell if it was a boy or girl just from drawing your blood.  We did this at 12 weeks and the result came back it was a boy.  We just didn't was to make the announcement until we had our 20 week ultrasound so we could make sure.  I was going to happy either way but Lance was REALLY routing for a boy, he got his wish! :)  Emie said she wanted it to be a boy since she already has a sister.   This poor boy has his work cut out for him living in the same house as these two girls who can't wait to paint his nails and do his hair.  :/  Now I better get buying this little dude some stuff since everything in our house is pink!

Easter 2012

Here is what our Easter looked like this year. We started off by dying eggs on Friday night. They had fun decorating them with stickers which took them hours! Then Sunday morning the Easter Bunny left a basket and an egg hunt for them. They could care less about the basket, because they were so thrilled with the egg hunt. We had about 150 egg hidden and they found every single one! They did get all dolled up later that day but me being forgetful forgot to get a picture, duh! It was a good Easter spent with family, good weather, a nice brunch, and a fun BBQ. ( sorry the pictures are posted backwards )

Oh, baby!

The rumors are true, we are expecting baby number 3! I'm 12 weeks along which makes me due September 9th. We are excited and a little nervous, I've heard #3 is the kicker! Wish us luck! :)

Winter

We've seen very little winter weather this year but the one day that it did snow you better believe we went out to play in it. The girls also love putting together forts. They played house in that thing all day long.

Bayla's Bed

Looks who's in a big girl bed! I must be honest, it was a rough adjustment at first but about 3 week later I think she is OK with it! Next up, getting rid of the binky's... Oi!

Emie's friend Birthday party!

Here are some fun pictures of Emie's Birthday party. We had about 30 kids with 20 adult so it was packed but SO much fun. Emie loved every minute! She is so lucky so have so many great friends that came. Thanks to everyone for making her day special! You might notice a little boy thats in almost every picture with her, that's Will and she says he is her "boyfriend". If I ask her what a boyfriend is she answers, its a boy that is my friend. :)

Emie is 5!

Look who had another Birthday. Her day started out with her Dad painting her fingernails. ( and they looked pretty professional.) Then she went to preschool where they sang to her and she got to bring a special treat to share. ( pink cookies.) And then we met some family and Jungle Jim and rode some rides and to top it all off she had a sleep over with Abby and Katie. ( her cousins) She had a fantastic day. Oh and its not over, she is having a friend party on Wednesday at Bouncing off the Walls. Its going to be me vs. 25 little ones. I'll let you know how that ones goes. :)

Christmas 2011

Santa most definitely found us this year! The girls were thrilled with their presants! Emie got a light sprite, princess shoes, and a dancing baby. Bayla got a tea set, a baby alive and a pillow and blanket. Plus they got a coloring table and easel to share. We did have a few curve balls thrown at us this Holiday including, Lance's grandpa ( visting from Seattle ) had to be taking to the hospital Christmas Eve and didn't get to come home until late Christmas afternoon, Bayla puking all over her room Christmas afternoon, and Emie getting pneumonia. BUT, we managed to pull through and now that I'm blogging I am realizing I didn't get very many picture but due to the chaos I think I'm forgiven. :)

Santa!

I knew this would happen before I even got there and yet I still go and put Bayla through this traumatic experience. I don't think I have ever got a picture without one of my kids crying. Even though they cry, I just have to get the picture because years from now we can look back and laugh. They have been pretty good this year (with the exception of some hair pulling and a sassy attitude). Emie asked Santa for some princess shoes, a pink rose, and a pink marker. I hope these easy request last a few more years. :) Bayla asked for..... well she didn't do much talking because she was screaming but Emie filled Santa in on what she has been asking for, treats.

Bayla Boo is Two!

Balya had a fun Dora Birthday party on Wednesday. She got lots of Dora things like a Dora kitchen, Dora shirt, Dora jammie's, Dora backpack, she also got a baby carrier and a balance bike. I don't know how Santa is going to top that!



She is a funny little girl full of personality. Here are some fun facts about her:
She sings her ABC's all day long.
She is always toting around a baby doll.
Her favorite color is purple which is ironic since that's what Emie named her when she was in my belly. ( purple baby )
She thinks she is hilarious when she make funny faces at us. (and it is pretty funny)
She can do a pretty mean somersault.
She LOVES her sister!
She likes to play on the IPAD and is pretty dang good at navigating to all her games.
She like to drink water and milk.
She is a good eater. Most days.
If she goes to time out its almost always for pulling Emie's hair.
She is a sweet thing, we sure to love her. :)
